Debora's diary is the website of a young 18 years old Dutch girl (born in Switzerland) who decided to go for a long tour of ten months to the United States of America. YFU, the organisation with which she leaves and which will follow her along this adventure, found her a hostfamily near the Large Lakes's area not so far from Flint, in the Michigan.

This website was created by two of her friends (Magali & Marc) in the single goal of informing her close relations over the evolution of her stay's situation through some articles written by her own hand and classified per month to which a whole serie of pictures will be attached. This website is totally written in english because of we will avoid some problems of comprehension which would occur at the time of these texts's translation in the language of her close relations (French & Dutch).
